The "wretched foe of Qadesh" rebelled against Thutmose III and was defeated at Megiddo. Was this an encounter between Pharaoh Shishak and King Rehoboam of Judah, preparatory to Shishak's invasion of Judah and reduction of Jerusalem? The file includes Breasted's translation of the "Megiddo" section of Tuthmose's "Annals", together with a later translation by Nelson from a superior hieroglyphic text, and shorter account by Thutmose from two other sources.
